These days, HR departments and Recruiting professionals are finding it very difficult to pick the best candidate for a job opening among a growing pool of qualified applicants. Zoho has just released an application to help companies manage the recruitment process: Zoho Recruit. This is an application tracking system that helps staffing agencies and human resources departments track job openings, resumes, candidates, and contacts, and the streamlined process means recruiters can spend less time on administrative upkeep. Zoho Recruit automates the entire hiring process - from creating and posting job openings to recruiting new employees - so recruiters can spend less time on those steps and more time getting the right candidate.
The application can help staffing agencies, independent recruiters, HR departments and many other people who want an application tracking system. It will include a database that manages resumes and track potential candidates throughout the interviewing process. You can also schedule interviews, send automatic e-mail notifications and log candidate activities and notes.
Zoho Recruit will also power a platform to create and publish job openings. The app includes an activity stream to let users stay on tops of new within Zoho Recruit and is fully customizable. Zoho Recruit is based on a freemium model, with the more feature-rich platform priced at $12/per user/per month.
Zoho Recruit can:
* Source and Reach Candidates. Gather resumes from multiple sources and do the initial filtering and resume screening more quickly - without weeding out the qualified candidates.
* Manage Candidates and Resumes. Manage resumes and track the candidates throughout the interviewing process. Zoho Recruit of course features a resume database. But beyond that, you can also schedule interviews, send automatic e-mail notifications and log candidate activities and notes. And once you've made a decision on a candidate you can "lock" him to avoid confusion with other positions or clients.
