Doing business has never changed much, but the rise of internet and especially Web 2 has had a big influence on the way we do business. Where you used to sell your products in your selfmade or bought shopping cart, nowadays you simply open an eBay store. But the internet has also influenced the way we conduct business these days. How so ?
Where companies used to be very closed to the outside world about activities, more and more companies now have blogs. Yes, they are mostly ran by the pr department, but still. And look at the way staff is found these days. A modern company looks for staff on the net – using LinkedIn, monsterboard or reantacoder and sites like this. Things have changed so much in this respect.
