I wrote a quick note on OpenCoffee on my other site, www.web2weblog.com and I wanted to say something about this initiative here too.
I like this initiative. And so do others, as the meetings are held all around the world (I noticed India as well). I think this will bring the world of the virtual startups closer to it's audience, as you can, if you are lucky, physically meet the founders of startups if you attend to the meetings. The other thing is, this is so much more meaningful than *official* gatherings like seminars where the audience is seperated from the professionals as much as possible (you have to sit in a chair and listen, that's terrible and in no way social), as it's purpose is chitchat. And as you might know the best business is done on social occasions like dinners and being out drinking together. Good stuff.
